WARRANTY COVERAGE
✔ Duration: All pre-owned devices purchased from 20percent are covered by a local warranty of up to 6 months, starting from the date you receive your device.
✔ Record Keeping: Each device is registered in the 20percent database with a clear record of the warranty period.
✔ Eligibility: The warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser of the device bought directly from 20percent.
WARRANTY BENEFITS
✔ Peace of Mind: Technical advice and support available during the warranty period.
✔ Free Courier Service: Once a claim is submitted, 20percent will provide complimentary courier services for your device.
✔ 14-Day Replacement: If a fault is detected within 14 days of purchase, you are eligible for a replacement device or a similar product.
✔ Recurrent Fault Guarantee: If the same verified hardware fault occurs twice within the 6-month warranty period, 20percent will provide a replacement device or a similar product.
✔ Convenient Claim Process: Fast and simple claim and repair procedures to minimize inconvenience.
WHAT THE WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER
1. Normal Wear and Tear
✖ Routine usage and aging of hardware.
✖ Accessories such as chargers and cables.
2. Software Issues
✖ Operating systems, third-party software, or software reloaded on the device.
✖ Any software installed by the customer after purchase.
3. Hardware Damage and Misuse
✖ Screen damage (including cracks, dead pixels, or hinge-related issues).
✖ Problems caused by external factors such as accidental damage, misuse, abuse, or power issues (including outages).
✖ Physical damage to devices with 360° (2-in-1), foldable, or flip technology, including:
- Misaligned external hardware parts
- Stiff or squeaky hinges
- Device opening beyond intended angle
- Dust, dirt, or foreign objects inside hinges
- Evidence of dropping or mishandling
- Screen damage resulting from hinge failure
4. Improper Use or Handling
✖ Failure to follow product instructions or perform preventive maintenance (such as software updates).
✖ Use of non-manufacturer-approved accessories, parts, or components.
✖ Physical modifications or the addition of extra parts.
✖ Incorrect handling of a factory reset.
5. Identification Issues
✖ Missing, altered, or illegible product service tags, serial numbers, or IMEI numbers.
✖ Devices that are blacklisted.
6. External Causes Beyond 20percent’s Control
✖ Natural disasters, lightning, fire, power surges, or outages.
✖ Water or liquid damage (applies to both operational parts and batteries, regardless of IP rating).
✖ Pest infestations or damage caused by insects.
✖ Damage caused by power surges following an outage or restoration of power supply.
7. Physical Damage
✖ Cracked screens or evidence of drops, dents, scratches, or scuffs.
✖ Any visible physical damage that may indicate internal failure.
8. Damaged Sealing Label
✖ During the warranty period, the sealing label on the phone was damaged or torn off.
IMPORTANT NOTES
✔ The warranty covers hardware faults only that occur under normal usage conditions.
✔ Accidental damage, misuse, or unauthorized modifications automatically void the warranty.
✔ Claims will be verified against 20percent’s internal records before approval.
✔ Replacements will be made with the same model or a product of equal value, subject to availability.
