Unable to Create an Apple Account in South Africa?

Unable to Create an Apple Account in South Africa?

This issue may occur on pre-owned Apple devices. Don’t worry—you can create an Apple Account through Apple’s official South African website by following the steps below.

How to Create Your Apple Account

  1. Visit the official Apple South Africa website:
    https://www.apple.com/za/

  2. Scroll to the bottom of the page and select Manage Your Apple Account.

  3. Click Create Your Apple Account.

  4. Enter the required information, including your name, date of birth, email address, password and phone number. Then complete the verification process.

  5. Once your account has been created successfully, you can sign in on your iPhone, iPad or Mac.

Important Information

  • Use an active email address and a phone number that can receive verification codes.

  • Make sure all the information you provide is accurate.

  • If you are using a pre-owned device, ensure that the previous owner has signed out of their Apple Account and removed the device from Find My. If the device is protected by Activation Lock, only the previous owner or Apple—subject to valid proof of purchase—can remove it.

Apple ID is now called an Apple Account. Both names refer to the same account.
